You've Paid For It, Use It!
A large percentage of patients who have private medical insurance forget to use it or don't realise that they can use it for ancillary medical services such as Physiotherapy. In addition, more and more businesses now offer cover to their employees and immediate family members as part of their employment package.
Here at Highthorn Physiotherapy we have worked hard over the years to gain ‘provider status' recognition with all the major private health companies. They often have very strict criteria with which we, as providers, have to comply to ensure optimum patient care and treatment. Including (but not exhaustive): BUPA, Axa PPP, Aviva, CIGNA Healthcare, Simply Health, Pru Health, Alliance Surgical, WPA.
Most health insurance policies offer an annual allowance for ‘Physiotherapy'. Each insurance company offers a variety of policies with varying amounts of cover. Check out your policy and find out what you're entitled to - you may be pleasantly surprised!
We would always advise that you contact your private health company prior to attending for an appointment. They will guide you through the administration process (this is usually more straightforward than patients expect). If at all in doubt, please contact our reception team who may be able to assist.Show All
